A microfiber is so called when it's weight is less than 1 gram per 10km length. For most microfibers this equates to a diameter of less than 0.13 denier. A microfiber is always made up of two polymers, which combine to form a single tread. The polymers are used 70% polyester and 30% polyamide(nylon).
Advantage of Microfiber product
The fibers are then used in the manufacture of microfiber cleaning cloths. This can take various forms; for example woven and knitted cloths, onwoven etc. And it's split into 16 micro segments by special physical and chemical treatment through the finishing process.
For correctly split fibers the triangular segments have been fully removed from the core. These egments form the true microfibers and are responsible for the remarkable cleaning properties.
Microfiber would have more than 10 times of suface area comparing to normal fiber, and this will create
much stronger absorbability due to capillary actions of these fine holes.
When it's used by dry mop, there is no trouble but In case of wet or damp, because of friction force is very strong, it's hard to clean the floor.
useing of Microfiber
due to their minute structure micro fibers are better able to penetrate the crevices of the work surface.
split microfibers possess sharper edges, affording improved contact with the work surface and superior penetration of dirt.
one of the microfiber polymers is lyophilic i. e. has an affinity with oil; so that oil and grease adhere directly to the fibers and do not require preparatory treatment with chemicals and hydro-philic has an
affinity with water. This is also the reason why microfiber cloths do not rinse well and once saturated
require laundering.
